Objectives

Chiltern Music Academy was established in September 2014. We aim to put the play into playing and the passion into performance. An independent centre of vibrant community music making, our passion is the nurture and support of the developing musician in every child. We provide musical opportunities for children aged 4-18 and currently have over 400 members.

Activities

Every child has the opportunity to get involved at CMA, from the age of 4, when they are able to join or Micro-Springers programme exploring music and singing.  As the children get older, they are able to choose to learn an instrument and join a range of choirs, bands, orchestras, chamber groups, small ensembles and jazz bands.  We also offer Music Therapy for children with additional needs and their families.
