To advance the education of the public in the knowledge, understanding and enjoyment of the art of film.

The charity's main objective is to advance the education of the public in the knowledge, understanding and enjoyment of the art of film. It achieves this through the screening of films from all over the world, including classic and popular films; and by delivering an outreach and education programme working with and supporting the local area through community support and study programmes.

About Chichester Cinema at New Park
Founded in 1979, Chichester Cinema at New Park strives to be the best independent cinema on the South Coast. 

Their mission is to deliver a rich and varied programme of film and performance events from around
the world, in an inclusive and welcoming way that helps people see the world through different
eyes, and broadens the appeal and appreciation of independent cinema on the South Coast of
England and beyond.

The charitable aims of Chichester Cinema enable them to support a number of education,
community and outreach activities to provide an inclusive opportunity for children and adults to
enjoy the magic of cinema. 

The single-screen cinema seats 115 and offers state of the art sound and projection technology as
well as an on-site cafe and bar.
