Chemogiftbags is a registered Breast Cancer charity offering care packages called(Chemogiftbags) for people undergoing chemo and in the Thames Valley.
It’s all about letting complete strangers know others care. If we can bring a :-) to someone going through these daunting times by providing a Chemogiftbag then our job is done. We also run a support group on Facebook that runs alongside Chemogiftbags.
We were founded in October 2015 and by July 2016 we had become a registered charity and also won Organisation champion from Against Breast Cancer. We are a charity that likes to act and get things done.
Chemogiftbags takes the care packages out to the patients when they have their appointments. We arrange to me them in a safe environment and our Ambassadors will then meet them either on the ward or in an agreed place in the hospital and give them their Chemogiftbag, which has been lovingly packed by hand with them in mind.
We also have events held by our donators and CGB held their own 1st Afternoon Tea on 1st July to raise money for the charity. It was a sell out event with over 90 sittings and people coming together to meet have a chat and raise money for Chemogiftbags.
