Objectives

We're the charity for Chemical Engineers and their families. Providing grants, advice and a listening ear, we're here to help people who have experienced a difficult change of circumstances. Whether that's due to job loss, health issues, family matters, or housing problems, we will support people with managing their circumstances and getting back on track.

Founded in 1928 by a dedicated group of chemical engineers, our mission has always been simple: to provide help to chemical engineers and their families in times of need. For over 90 years, we've stood by the chemical engineering community, ready to lend a hand whenever needed.

Activities

We provide dedicated grants, advice and casework.  We award short-term financial assistance, whether by making regular monthly paymens over a fixed period of time, or one-off support such as for disability aids and adaptations or towards the costs of school uniform.

We're presently looking at expanding into offering other services, such as mental health support and career guidance.
