Objectives

The Charity Service has been managing charitable funds and making grants to voluntary organisations for over 20 years. Our mission is to support philanthropists to give with ease and confidence.

Activities

We provide services to philanthropists. Our main product is a Donor Advised Fund (DAF) account for major donors. DAFs provides donors with a simple, flexible and tax-efficient way to manage their long-term charitable giving. Our donors support a wide range of charitable causes.

We also act as a corporate trustee for several charitable trusts. Most of the trusts focus on Greater Manchester where we make grants in the following areas: preventing homelessness; reducing social isolation; emergency support for vulnerable families and children; and, holidays for disadvantaged, disabled, sick and/or convalescent children and their families.
