Objectives

The Charity exists to support all civil servants, past and present, when times are tough, listening without judgement and providing practical, financial and emotional support. Our mission is helping people to overcome life’s challenges and thrive.

Our volunteers are the heart of the Charity, most being current or former civil servants themselves but we also welcome anyone without a link to the civil service. We are embarking on an ambitious five-year plan to double the number of instances of support we deliver annually to over 100k which we can't do without the help of our fantastic volunteers.

Activities

Life-changing events can affect us all. We know that one problem can often lead to another. That’s why we try to look at the whole picture when someone approaches us for help.

Alongside financial grants and issue-specific advice, we continue to develop and enhance our services, offering digital and self-help tools and techniques, which meet the changing needs our Civil Service community.

We help people to deal with the complex challenges, which anyone can face throughout their lives, from mental or physical health issues and financial capability and debt management, to relationship breakdown, caring responsibilities and bereavement.
