Objectives

Helping young people to develop by working and learning to boost their employability, as well as improving and increasing the sustainability of communities and employers.

Activities

Plans included continuing to offer young people, communities and employers eight main services:

  • To set up and manage project work with recent graduates on both voluntary and paid placements throughout the country and across Europe.

  • To set up and manage projects locally, regionally and nationally.

  • To offer advice to young people on careers and employment that promotes sustainability.

  • To help communities, agencies, businesses and partnerships learn more about sustainability.

  • To promote and celebrate the value, involvement, resourcing and use of young people as project workers and volunteers.

  • To help the young people we support to improve their employability by providing experiential learning, learning resources, training and mentoring.

  • To provide our ‘Change Agents’ and staff the opportunity to take accredited learning such as the Professional Development Award offered by City and Guilds.

  • To run an MSc Sustainability in partnership with Anglia Ruskin University and the Eden Project
