We aim to help the disadvantaged, the isolated, and welcome all to our Centre.
We aim to educate, provide entertainment, provide opportunities to learn, and join in with activities.
This matters because we care about our residents - we want them to take advantage of us!
We have all sorts of activities to reach out to our residents - they can keep fit & supple with Pilates, Yoga, Zumba and T'ai Chi.
They can educate themselves with Love Literacy (English & Maths), Praise Factory (music lessons), two Book Clubs a month,
If they are over a certain age - they can join in with our council led programme with Ageing Well (sequence dancing, Boccia, Bingo & Arts & Crafts.
The young are catered for with the council led programme for Children's Services with groups for Babbling Babes, Play with a Story and Toddler Talk,
We have groups run by Asian women for Asian women - the younger ladies have the Chadwell Heath Asian Ladies Network, the older ladies have the Chai club.
Our younger ladies group is run by a member who recently received the Award for the local Woman of Corage and then went on to win Woman of the Year!
Other activities include a Canasta group (new members welcome) and why not join in with our Creative Writing class, Creative Academy, Samba Drumming, Youth Theatre and LD Arts & Drama - all provided by our partner - Green Shoes Arts?
