Objectives

The Centre for Global Equality (CGE) is a UK-based civil society organisation that enables innovation for sustainable development. Through inclusive innovation, an approach that is inclusive in both purpose and approach, we mobilise science and technology for the benefit of those across the world who live on less than $4 a day, without harming the environment or the interests of future generations. And all potential solutions are co-created with the people they are intended to benefit.

We have developed a range of tools and programmes to facilitate Inclusive Innovation, which we deliver in collaboration with partners in academia, civil society, government and business. Focusing primarily on solving challenges relating to food, water, energy, health, work and the environment, we have ongoing Inclusive Innovation collaborations in the UK, Ethiopia, Kenya, Zambia, Ghana, Lao PDR, Vietnam and India. We also support projects in Cambodia, Cameroon, Colombia, Ghana, Madagascar, Rwanda, Tanzania and Uganda.
