To serve the needs of its members by providing a community in which they can apply their talents and skills in all areas encompassing the performing arts.
To reach out to the wider community through a variety of events and projects produced by CaAPA members for charitable purposes.
To make provision to meet spiritual needs and seek to resolve moral problems and difficulties incident to the lives of those involved in the performing arts, particularly but not exclusively, those who are members of the catholic church while on tour, at home or abroad.
Performing Arts means and includes any members of the theatrical, variety, film, radio, TV and allied professions including technical or secretarial.
1) makes grants to individuals to (particularly but not exclusively to Caapa members) with a keen interest in the performing arts for example when those individuals are starting out in the performing arts profession.
2) Chaplains offer support, guidance and prayers for specific causes and advise on the religious aspect of theatre and film productions.
3) Provides advocacy / Advice / information
4) Organises charitable events to raise money for 1 above
