Cathedral Music Trust provides financial and non-financial support to the cathedral music sector to further our objectives of excellence, participation and sustainability. We invest in programmes that widen participation by giving children and young people the opportunity to get involved in cathedral music, and that develop expertise, through the training of choristers, organ and choral scholars and the support of professional roles within cathedral music departments. Our investment enables music departments to enhance what they already achieve as well as to develop new work, giving them time to evaluate its success and secure the means to continue the work beyond the scope of our support.
