Objectives

Catch Up's beneficiaries are primarily young learners in schools who struggle with literacy or numeracy.

Structured one-to-one interventions have been developed from rigorous academic research and are targeted to the needs of individual learners. 

Catch Up significantly improves the achievement of young learners who find literacy or numeracy difficult and has been used to help over 500,000 struggling learners since 1997.

Catch Up® (the working name of the Caxton Trust) is a not-for-profit company limited by guarantee (company number 03476510) and a UK-registered charity (charity number 1072425).

Activities

Catch Up® provides the training and support to teachers and teaching assistants in their delivery of the Catch Up interventions and conducts research to develop and enhance them.
