Cat Chat is a web-based registered charity sourcing new, loving homes for thousands of rescued cats and kittens each year from shelters and rehoming groups across the UK and Ireland.
Cat Chat assists rescue organisations large and small, from the many independent rehoming centres to branches of the larger welfare charities.
We are particularly committed to finding homes for the harder-to-home cats. We believe that there is a home out there for every cat!
Through the Cat Chat website, and our Cat Homing Pages ('virtual cat shelters'), we help rescue centres nationwide to find more homes for cats in their care, and encourage more people to adopt rather than buying from a pet-shop or breeder. Our team of Virtual Volunteers are vital in keeping the various aspects of the Cat Chat site running, enabling more rescued cats to find a forever home.
On the Cat Chat website people can see cats for adoption at rehoming centres in their local area. We also provide a comprehensive database of rescue centres and rehoming groups across the UK and Ireland, for the benefit of the public and the rescue community. Our team of experienced advisers assist members of the public with a wide range of queries relating to cat rescue & rehoming.
