People with disabilities are the largest and most diverse minority group in the United Kingdom, which makes Disability History an important subject. We aim to uncover and preserve the history and heritage of the Invalid Carriage and its users.
Through exhibitions and artist talks, we have raised the profile of Invalid Carriage history. We have carried out research which has uncovered brand new information about these vehicles and their users. All our volunteer opportunities are accessible and inclusive.
