Objectives

To campaign for a thriving countryside and in particular to protect and enhance green belt, urban green space including parks, AONBs, SSSIs and National Parks and so that people who live or work in these areas or use these areas for leisure can continue to do so. We advise and support such people when inappropriate development is proposed and in particular on town and country planning.  For many people access to the countryside or green space is essential for mental and physical health and well being and people who live or/and work in the countryside need affordable housing so that the countryside and rural life can continue to thrive for the benefit of all.

Activities

We campaign at local and national level on town and country planning issues. We advise individuals, protest/action groups, parish councils and local authorities on town and country planning  and threats to the countryside and rural life,
