We are the independent voice of National Parks.
We are the only independent charity dedicated to securing the future of National Parks in England and Wales. Our independence from government means we can speak out for protected landscapes when no-one else can. Our first campaign resulted in the creation of our National Parks. But it is not enough just to maintain and preserve. Now, inspired by our legacy, we campaign for more, and for better; to fight for nature, tackle climate change and to safeguard natural beauty for future generations. We campaign so that everyone, no matter their background, can enjoy and take action for the future of our most amazing landscapes.

Our mission is to inspire everyone to enjoy and take action for wilder National Parks, and to champion diverse voices, raise ambition and inspire action for nature-rich and inclusive National Parks.
We bring together a campaigning collective of organisations and individuals from all walks of life and ages, all National Park Societies and beyond, united in common cause to enhance these amazing landscapes for nature, for climate, for everyone.
As an independent charity, we remain committed to our charitable objects to promote the protection, conservation and enhancement of National Parks for public benefit. Much of our work focuses on lobbying and campaigning at the national level; seeking to raise the profile of the Parks and the issues affecting them. We also work with a network of local organisations and seek to support them to prevent specific threats to the individual Parks.
