Objectives

Camelsdale Primary School  provides a 'Flying Start to a learning Life' for its 211 4-11year old children . We were the first West Sussex County Council School built in 1904 and, as such, boasts great heritage and is set in beautiful surroundings on the border of West Sussex, Surrey and Hampshire. We are a Forest School with a fantastic creative, memorable learning journey set over  seven years. We hold the International Schools Award, Arts Mark Gold Award, Eco Schools Award , Quality Mark Award, Fairtrade Award, Sports Mark. We are a busy school very proud of its extensive offer! The children and their families enjoy our family friendly school where caring, creativity and independence abound. We all follow The Camelsdale Way - our ethos permeates through the school- do come and see for yourself!  

Activities

Our school's strategic aim is provide an outstanding quality of education. Our values include independent learning, creativity, kindness, collaboration and  respect . The Camelsdale Way provides our moral compass and is a strong feature of the school. We focus on teaching basic skills well within a very creative curriculum. We love to learn through  first hand experience and outdoors. We teach Spanish across the school and run an international school journey to Burgos where we have our link school. It sets about meeting its  objectives  through being very well organised !
