The Cambridgeshire Family History Society exists to encourage the study of family history within the old counties of Cambridgeshire and The Isle of Ely.
We offer a friendly point of contact for people worldwide who are interested in the same names, families and places, and we provide a wide range of facilities to support their researches.
The society offers the chance to share information between likeminded people through the CFHS Journal and website ...our exclusive records provide invaluable assets for those researching their Cambridgeshire ancestors.
Our remit is to promote good practice in research and, in consultation with the county archives, to help preserve the county’s genealogical records through transcription/indexing projects.
