Objectives

CCI is an award-winning arts and wellbeing charity that helps children and young people and their communities to thrive

Over 20 years, we've developed a unique approach that makes a real difference. Working with artists in the outdoors, our projects help build creatively healthy communities across our region.

Whilst children and young people are at the heart of all our work, we design ways for people of all ages to develop their own curiosity and imagination by inviting them into playful environments and giving them the permission to express their own ideas.

Activities

We work with schools through a unique approach known as Artscaping.Working with skilled artists and enablers, we focus on how the world just outside our doors can be opened up as a space for curiosity and imagination for everyone, allowing children’s ideas to be explored and valued, and giving them a voice. In turn, this gives all young people the confidence to think of themselves as citizens, enabling them to care better for their communities, and the planet.

Alongside our work in schools, we carefully plan ways to involve everyone in our work, inviting people of all ages and backgrounds to collaborate and contribute.
