To encourage local residents and users of Manor Farm Park in Northfield, South Birmingham to spend time outdoors, learn about the natrual environment, engage in physical and creative activity and have fun with family friends. We provide a range of inclusive and affordable educational and recreational activities which contribute to mental and physical health and wellbeing. The park was gifted to the people of Birmingham by George Cadbury but facilities were destroyed by fire in 2017. We aim to place a building in the park which will provide toilet facilities, refreshments and a dry space to meet.
Our activities programmes include foraging walks, teenage bushcraft, tree identification walks, yoga, tai chi, arts sessions, woodland craft sessions, pottery, bike maintenance (the national cycle track borders the park), street dance and forest schools.
