The Burnham Foundation  (TBF) aims to develop a strong sense of community in and around Burnham supporting volunteering, sporting and cultural activities, and encouraging a greater concern for the environment.  We are well-networked within our local community and are able to offer small grants in the range normally of between £100 to £500 to support any initiative which meets our terms of reference.  To date we have awarded 29 grants to the sum of £7k and currently have £7k in our bank account to continue this activity.  Our most recent event was to hold a fundraising supper titled "What can we learn from trees?' and our most likely next grant is to fund sports equipment for our local youth centre.
