Geographical remit:

Our objective is to celebrate our history past, present and future by telling the story of our town and surroundings through the display of objects and texts Exhibits include local geological and Roman artefacts, sculpture and silver.

We link with other organisations e.g. currently have an exhibition of painted Romanian Eggs from the Horniman Museum, London. Casespace: bimonthly changing exhibitions by local artists, potters, crafts people and collectors. Book Launches by local writers. Regular talks for members and visits to sites of special interest. We hold previews for all our events which encourages participation and raises funds for the Museum.
