We aim to give young people experiences (The Sea Cadet experience) that will help them grow into the person they want to be in a safe and friendly environment. Through various marine based activities and adventures, young people can learn teamwork, respect, loyalty, self-confidence, commitment, self-discipline, honesty and how to be the best version of ourselves.
We offer a range of different activities from sailing, windsurfing and power boating, to rock climbing, camping, music and much more. At Broughton Astley Sea Cadets you can also gain varied qualifications of use outside of Sea Cadets.
Adults can volunteer in various roles. You can be a uniformed instructor and undertake all the training you need to become qualified. You can also take part as a civilian instructor or assistant. We also have Trustee positions available for those who would like to be involved in the governance and administration of the Sea Cadets.
