The Bristol Early Music Festival, founded in 2019, is a charity aiming to encourage awareness, appreciation and performance of early music in the South West by organising a Festival of Early Music annually or biennially.

The Festival organises a weekend festival which consists of live performances by nationally-known and local early musicians, with talks, exhibitions and workshops for players and singers, young and old. Our definition of early music is secular and sacred music for voices or instruments composed before 1700 and reaching back to the early Middle Ages.
