Objectives

Brilliant Parents offers a range of parent support programmes, To empower and support parents/guardians/carers and families by delivering evidence-based parenting training programmes as well as to build a network of volunteer parent carer champions offering one to one peer support. Our diverse service offer includes: 

Parenting training using the internationally acclaimed Triple P Programme       Parenting supervision using the Triple P PASS Supervision ·         

Delivery for corporates, Local Authorities, Schools, the prison service, National Health Service, Voluntary sector and Faith organisations ·         

Peer to peer support using volunteer Parent Champions to befriend parents whose children are at risk of exploitation ·         

The PAP (Parenting Apart Programme) ·         

M_PACT (Parenting for parents who experience substance mi-use ·         

Positive Steps - A self-esteem course for adults and young female adults

Brilliant Parents aims to give parents a safe space to self-reflect on how they engage with their child.  To question whether how they were raised has impacted their parenting style and to have the courage to make positive changes if needs be. Many of our parents have confirmed that they got so much more than they expected once they attended our courses and have gone on to seek counselling for their own childhood traumas. 

Activities

Brilliant Parents empowers and supports parents/guardians/carers and families by delivering evidence-based parenting training programmes to enable parents/guardians/carers to improve their own and their families’ health and wellbeing by delivering nutrition and other health improvement training and coaching programmes. Brilliant Parents works with numerous agencies who support parental education in settings such as schools, prisons, places of work. In addition to working with commercial, statutory, healthcare and voluntary sector organisations to deliver parenting and health and wellbeing programmes for their employees who are parents/guardians/carers. The volunteer parent carer champions training programme has been developed to support families whose children are at risk of exploitation and may otherwise feel isolated with what they are facing. Brilliant Parents empowers parents and carers and promotes their personal development and overal wellbeing.
