We all have a responsibility in the Climate Emergency. We all know that children are the future. What is better than engaging children from the beginning of their education? What is better than proving how possible change is, by showing them the change we hope they will continue?

Environmental Sustainability is good for the planet and good for the school - reducing our carbon footprint and reducing running costs. There are great opportunities to involve the student body, school staff and Brightwell community in becoming a certified Eco-School

Organisational Sustainability Since joining the Trust, student numbers have stabilized and have increased to the point that single year classes have now been achieved, excepting year 5 and 6. Single year classes are the most financially sustainable, and to accommodate this through the entire school, an additional classroom is needed.

The Brightwell School Eco Alliance is being set up to fund projects that deliver on these aims
