Citizens Advice is a charity which aims to provide free, independent, confidential & impartial advice to help people face their problems. We provide a range of advice services to people across the county borough of Bridgend, at a time when welfare reforms [e.g. universal credit] and economic austerity are increasing local demand for those services.
We provide free, independent and confidential advice by helping people overcome their problems, face-to-face, via webchat services, and by telephone advice & support
We also campaign on big issues when their voices need to be heard. We are here for everyone, and value diversity, champion equality, and challenge discrimination and harassment.
The service aims to provide the advice people need for the problems they face, and to improve the policies and practices that affect people’s lives.
