The Brave Project Community Interest Company (C.I.C) is UK-based suicide prevention and wellbeing service; for BAME (Black, Asian, Minority Ethnic) boys and young men. Founded in 2020, the Brave Project C.I.C’s purpose is to improve the mental health outcomes of BAME boys and young men, prevent future mental health crises, reduce suicide and provide better support for those bereaved or affected by suicide. Through public awareness and education, the Brave Project C.I.C empowers BAME boys and young men to reach out and ask for help when they need it without fear of Judgement. The Brave Project C.I.C provides access to culturally appropriate support and resources and bridges the gap between BAME boys and young men that may need support and suicide prevention services that provide support.
