Objectives

Bramley Baths is a community-led, not-for-profit centre for fitness, wellbeing, health and fun. We operate a public gym, swimming pool and studio in a Grade II listed Edwardian bath house which has been serving the people of Bramley since 1904.

Run by a voluntary Board and a professional team, we're celebrating our tenth year as a successful social enterprise and making plans to continue offering fantastic services to the local community. To help with this, we’re looking for up to three new trustees to join us and help build the future of the Baths.

Activities

We've invested in our fantastic building, supported our staff team and created a vibrant programme of health and wellbeing activities for the local community. Together, we:

Teach over 1,500 people a week how to swim, including 450 schoolchildren from 17 schools
Provide state of the art equipment for hundreds of members in the gym, studio and pool
Put on events like swims to the cinema, gala sports days, art installations and community fundraisers
Provide a safe and welcoming space for our whole community, including groups like Tri-Bramley Baths and the Bramley Mermaids

We've got big plans for the future to further reduce our carbon footprint, develop our building and take our offer to the community to new heights.
