Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer, yet just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease. Brain Tumour Research is the only national charity in the UK that funds sustainable, long-term research into brain tumours at dedicated Centres of Excellence. Together we will find a cure.
Brain Tumour Research’s priorities are to fundraise for vital research and to campaign for greater awareness of the issues surrounding brain tumour funding. Our flagship fundraising campaign is Wear A Hat Day, which takes place every March and is the premier brain tumour awareness event in the UK. Volunteers are integral, valued and highly-respected members of our team. Whatever your skills and however much time you can offer, together, we will find a cure for brain tumours.
