Objectives

Our team provides a free, confidential service which promotes the emotional, physical, social and spiritual wellbeing of those attending court.

Activities

Our team work across two court sites - Bradford Magistrates Court and Bradford Crown Court.  Our Chaplains and Volunteers offer support to ANYONE attending the courts we serve.  Our main work is with defendants.  Many defendants are unrepresented and may have complex problems.  We tackle problems such as alcohol, drug, bereavement, debt, domestic violence, homelessness and hunger.  We do not judge anyone, our first priority is to offer a listening ear in times of great anxiety and distress.  Our team will help make appointments, complete court forms, provide general support and will sit in court with those who request it.
