Our primary aim is to offer high quality support to those working through the grieving process. In delivering the service we aim to provide a forum for future mental health workers to attain their professional qualifications

Activities

We are a small charity that offers counselling and support to the bereaved of the Bradford Metropolitan Area aged over 16 years old. The core of our volunteers are students working to become professional mental health therapists. Their work with us forms part of their professional qualifications. We select students by interview from local universities and colleges offering further training to enhance their understanding and skills to work with the bereaved. We also provide qualified, professional Clinical Supervision to our volunteers. The organisation is a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy . We offer a range of training courses to the students and other volunteers. Our paid support team consist of a Service Manager and Admnistration Worker  plus an experienced and qualified Counsellor to assess people wishing to make use of our service
