Bradford on Avon Museum exists to collect and conserve artefacts relating to the ancient area of the Bradford Hundred. It benefits local inhabitants, schools, local tourists, educational organisations and visitors to the town. It runs a museum with free entry [donations invited] that is staffed by volunteers, publishes booklets on a wide range of topics, organises talks, presentations and discussion groups, produces a Newsletter which contains educational articles and news of museum activities, maintains a comprehensive and detailed website, undertakes archaeological investigations of the local topography, engages with the local community on issues of common interest. It is dedicated to providing information on local history, ancient buildings and, is a key player in ensuring that our important local heritage is preserved for future generations.
