Objectives

Our beneficiaries are all people interested in attachment theory, either through professional training and development, therapy or information.  We believe everyone can benefit from learning about attachment.  Our alumni are researchers, writers and teachers in the field of attachment theory, trauma and relationships.

Activities

Our objects are the relief of mental distress through the provision of training and services in psychotherapy and the provision of centre for psychotherapy training.  We meet this by offering a 4 year accredited training course and a 2 year Accredited Prior Learning course, accredited with the UK Council for Psychotherapy.  We provide continuing professional development courses available to all across the mental health therapy sector, short courses for aligned professionals, e.g. social work, health care, domestic abuse, children's services.  We produce a Journal and support research and dissemination of information.

We offer direct relief of mental distress through our Blues Project low-cost therapy.
