When a client approaches the Guild, or is referred to us by a third party agency, we carry out an in depth assessment of their requirements and financial situation. We seek to identify the root causes of their situation. We do not operate a ‘sticking plaster’ approach. Often the reasons for the client’s situation are a combination of circumstances and all these need to be considered and addressed. Once all the issues have been properly identified we work with the client for as long as it takes to arrive at the best solution to their circumstances.

We carefully measure the benefits that we achieve for our clients and, to put this into perspective, in the last year we have delivered more than £500,000 of added social value to some of the neediest people in the Borough of Bolton.
