We are a new organisation and are working with a Community in Bulambuli District Uganda. Our vision is to develop a training programme to strengthen the capacity of the community to develop, implement and run their own successful community projects. The community live in poverty and this intervention will improve their ability to own and develop their own solutions to the challenges they face within their communities.
We have a trustee board in the UK and a local implementing partner organisation in Uganda. We have conducted various needs assessments and consultations over the last three years and are committed to reducing the poverty in Bulambuli District, Uganda. Our objective of reducing poverty can only be achieved if the community is strengthened and given the necessary skills to implement their own solutions to the challenges they face. The role of Blossom Africa will be to facilitate training and seek financial support for projects which will be developed, implemented and managed by the community themselves
