To deliver the Union Cup rugby tournament, promoting LGBT+ involvement in sport and challenging homophobia, biphobia and transphobia.
Birmingham Bulls RFC successfully won the rights to host the Union Cup, the International Gay Rugby (IGR) biannual European rugby tournament, here in Birmingham. Originally due to be held in 2021, this has been delayed until 2023 due to COVID restrictions.
This is an exciting project, which will deliver a major event for the LGBT+ community and will bring thousands of players and supporters to Birmingham in May 2023
