Objectives

We focus on supporting young people in Biggar and Clydesdale, especially those who may be facing challenges with mental health, well-being, or socioeconomic factors that impact their access to nutritious food and life skills.

We hope to extend sessions over time so that our building is always busy with young people taking the lead and deciding what they want from us.

These sessions empower young people by building essential skills, confidence, and resilience. By teaching them about sustainable practices and fostering a sense of belonging,  we play a vital role in equipping the next generation with tools for well-being and independence.

Activities

All our sessions are designed to provide a safe, inclusive space where young people feel supported and encouraged. The structure of our activities helps young people build confidence and gain skills in a non-judgmental setting, reducing feelings of isolation and promoting self-esteem.

Each activity and interaction is underpinned by a focus on mental health and well-being, recognising the holistic needs of young people. Whether through the simple act of sharing a meal or learning a new skill, we provide meaningful, supportive engagement that addresses both practical and emotional needs, promoting resilience and well-being in young people.
