Objectives

We provide affordable therapeutic and psychoeducation services for the community. We work with adults (18+). We offer affordable counselling and offer some bursary counselling place's.  We work from our own premises, via zoom and also work with other community organisations proving them with counsellors so that their clients receive a further reduced rate. We feel that community collaborative working is the best way of ensuring people in need/crisis have access to  the available support services.

We value our counsellors and they all receive regular line management, clinical supervision and reduced rate continued professional development opportunities.

We  also offer affordable psychoeducation  groups, anxiety, substance misuse, anger management groups and personal development groups. We intend to build these groups in response to the need we encounter through our work.

In todays society, mental health services are at breaking point and unfortunately this means long waiting lists, particularly for people that are unable to afford private therapeutic services. Our service is helping people struggling with mental health/life challenges, that might overwise have a long and lonely wait ahead of them. When people are struggling with mental ill health, emotional concerns, or challenging life experiences, the world can seem a daunting and isolating place, Therapy and psychoeducational groups help people to learn about their feelings, why they may be feeling that way, and how to cope. Not only can these interventions help people to understand themselves better, but it can help people to understand others too. This helps improve social interactions including  working and family relationships and dynamics. As you will appreciate the ripple effect can be enormous.

Our service matters, because people do.
