Beyond exists to improve the mental health of young people in the UK. We enable access to high quality mental health support for young people both in and out of school, increase awareness of services and support available, and give a voice and platform to young people with lived experience of the challenges of mental health. Suicide rates in young people are higher than ever on record and 26% of all referrals to CAMHS are rejected. To date, Beyond has enabled access to critical mental health interventions in over 40 educational settings and provided free mental health resources to over one million young people.
We provide barrier free access to quality mental health resources through our mental health festival. We facilitate vital partnerships between schools and mental health providers via our national directory. We provide schools with the ability to receive specialist mental health support from our trusted providers that they would otherwise not have at a time when they need it the most via our Schools Programme. We provide a platform for young changemakers to share their mental health experiences and to create powerful campaigns that instigate meaningful societal change through our volunteer Youth Board.
