Objectives

BACC provides sanctuary for animals that cannot live in traditional domesticity due to behavioural or medical problems and animals that have been abandoned or mistreated. BACC focuses on educating the public on the management, behaviour and training of animals as well as managing their physical and mental wellbeing. BACC provides a safe space for people to connect with animals.

Activities

The Berkshire Animal Connection Centre is based in the Berkshire Countryside and was started to provide sanctuary for animals who have been rescued from dire circumstances and who cannot be rehomed whether it be due medical/health issues, ongoing rehabilitation, behavioural problems or simply because they do not fit into a specific role in society.

Now, the centre provides sanctuary for animals that are with us for all sorts of reasons.
This may be, as above, they have been rescued and need rehabilitation or it may be that they are struggling to live in 'traditional domesticity' (think stabled horses). Whilst most traditional environment work for most animals, there are always some that don't quite 'fit in'.
