At Beith Community Development Trust, we put community first and foremost in everything we do. From our food bank projects, our outdoor children's classes, various community events, and leadership courses we aim to improve the lives of everyone in the Garnock Valley in any way we can. We offer a varied range of activities, opportunities, and courses for people to engage with, including our sports leadership program, our nature activity classes, our music project lead by young people, and so much more. We are also proud to partner with; Project Scotland, Oxfam Scotland, Zero Waste Scotland, Climate Challenge Fund and North Ayrshire Council.
At Beith Trust we run a number of various activities to help our local community engage with one another and to learn valuable new skills. Some of our recent activities are our Lend an Ear volunteering program, in which volunteers call our various clients each day for a simple chat in an aim to help with loneliness and isolation. Our sports leadership program, allowing young people to lead a team and gain leadership experience in a hands on capacity. Our youth music project; funded by the National Lottery is a new project called the Band Factory will provide a unique opportunity for young people across the Garnock Valley and North Ayrshire to learn new music skills and take the lead in running their own music events. And so much more being planned every day.
