Objectives

We are an established charity of 32 years providing services for vulnerable people. We offer a one to one befriending service, group services throughout Suffolk and a community care farm near Sudbury Our main client group is adults with learning disabilities but we also provide a range of services to people with low level mental health problems, young mums, dysfunctional families, military wives and vulnerable housing tenants. We also offer life skills training and Asdan qualifications

Activities

A Board of Trustees, a staff team of 16 are assisted by over 100 volunteers to carry out our objectives.  Our aim is to provide specialised social activities and training opportunities for a wide range of vulnerable people who experience social isolation and exclusion from community activities. Our volunteers are DBS checked, trained and supported in their role as either a one to one Befriender or to assist in one of our groups throughout Suffolk.
