Objectives

Our objective is to relieve the suffering and needs of parents and carers, primarily but not exclusively of drugs and alcohol users by; Establishing and developing a service, which provides help, support, and advice. Beacon also provides a safe, comfortable environment in which to hold a parent and family parent and family support group sessions.

To raise awareness and educate the public on drugs and drug related issues by offering training on matters around counselling and advice.

Offering therapies such as Indian Head Massage, hand and foot massage, Reflexology and Reiki as complimentary therapies to aid relaxation and wellbeing.

To achieve our objectives we offer the following services:

  • One to one support sessions
  • Training
  • Complementary therapies
  • One to one Counselling sessions
  • Social events / Respite
  • Monthly coffee mornings
  • Drop in sessions - Wednesday 10:30am till 1:30pm
  • Telephone/OnlineĀ support
  • Other group activities.
