Our aims are to meet the multicultural care needs of older residents across B&NES, creating a safe space to empower and celebrate cultural diversity and to support care providers and services to ensure they understand the needs of the community we serve. We now also support vulnerable adults in crisis turning to us for support.
The services we provide change lives, this includes: running a day service three times a week, offering a range of creative activities, offering information and advice on health and wellbeing, providing advocacy support, translating and interpreting documents, organising social activities and outings, celebrating different points in the cultural calendar, making outreach visits to home and hospital. Providing signposting and advocacy to vulnerable adults in crisis who come to us for assistance, and a winter warm space/food etc
