Objectives

Banners Gate Counselling service aims to serve adults in the local community by providing an accessible and affordable counselling service in a safe and confidential environment where people are genuinely accepted and this respected We are an independent professional voluntary organisation providing counselling for adults 18 years of age to over 90 in the local community.
We have an open access policy welcoming self-referrals as well as clients referred by the medical profession or by recommendation.

Activities

The Centre is a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy and maintains professional standards in line with their Ethical Framework. It provides a supportive environment for counsellors working towards qualification or professional accreditation.They contribute according to their ability to pay. We are socially inclusive to all and no one is turned away because of an inability to pay
