Objectives

Bangor and District Women's Aid exists:

a. to relieve the distress and suffering of women and children caused by exposure to domestic abuse;

b. to relieve any woman or child in necessitous circumstances by the provision of temporary accommodation, by making grants of money, or by providing or paying for items, service or facilities;

c. to preserve and protect the mental and physical health of women and children in necessitous circumstances;

d. to educate the public in the causes and effects of domestic abuse and the prevention thereof, and to undertake or contribute to research into such matters and to publish the useful results of such research.
