At B Foundry, we are developing a collaboration platform for community and climate action - called Gather.
To address the climate crisis, we have to give people the tools to get involved.
There is no shortage of people who care about their local community, or about the climate. 85% of UK adults are now ‘very worried’ about climate change.
But many also feel powerless as individuals to have an impact on social or environmental issues.
With an ever more urgent climate deadline, we need to be enabling communities and businesses across the UK, and the world, to lead change.
The ideas, actions and innovations we need are already emerging.
This is not an innovation challenge - many of the actions we can take as individuals or communities are already here.
From household energy savings to tree-planting projects, container ‘gardening’ to community energy schemes, there are projects of varying levels of ambition that can help people save money, support their community and contribute to a carbon positive future.
But many of us just need a bit of help, support and motivation to get involved.
At Gather, we are developing a collaboration platform for community and climate action.
