Ayudante’s Mission Statement is to create opportunities for local disadvantaged people, by offering in-house employment, work placement's, Training & Development to help individuals progress into the future job market. Set-up in October 2012 to support disadvantaged people, Ayudante C.I.C offers a competitive & social alternative to traditional in-house manufacturing for local & national businesses.
Ayudante has developed into 2 defined business streams, Manufacturing Services and a Bicycle and Wheelchair repair and recycling service
Manufacturing
Provision of electro/mechanical sub assembly, kitting, & co-packing to local & national businesses. We carry out commercial contracts, with real products & real customers, resulting in a work experience opportunity that is a true reflection on what would be expected in mainstream employment. We aim to provide “REAL” skills to disadvantaged people, not classroom based or constructed around an educational environment.
Bicycle Recycling
Started in April 2014 the Bicycle Recycling project consists of receiving unwanted bicycles, refurbishing where possible and re-selling at affordable prices to the local community. Where bicycles cannot be refurbished, they are broken down into re-usable spares and the remainder disposed of responsibly.
