Providing support and assistance to those individuals to enable them to manage and maintain their tenancy, rebuild their lives and become positive members of society. Thereby reducing risk of re-offending, harm to individuals and the public, and reducing cost to society through unnecessary incarceration.
Take on private rent accommodation, screen and place ex offenders in suitable properties, provide initial basic furniture, starter pack and access to food banks, making Housing Benefit Claim.
Provide support workers and assistance to manage bills, debts, general tenancy issues and signposting to other relevant services. Liaise with Probation staff, Police and other support services.
Assist with applications for Local Authority accommodation or other applications where necessary.
